My first reaction to the sentence "my ideal woman is my mom" made me go "*facepalm* a mummy-boy OMG". But then again, I like he respects and admires her for all she's done for her sons with a smile. I guess he's inherited the talent of making people smile with his own smile by her :)
And LoL yeah he's totally turning like his father ROTFL. X°°D

he's talking about how the showbiz made him egotistical and ashamed of his hometown roots, right?
I'm quite sure he is referring about the egoistical and "cho Kamenashi" part of him, and probably about the many excesses people in showbiz experiment (that "showbiz has also a side that's different from common sense of the society" is quite a strong affirmation IMO). About feeling ashamed of his roots, maybe yes, maybe not - and I doubt he will never say something similar anyway. I think he was brave (or stupid, depending on the PoV) enough just admitting with such a casual tone that he had a period in his life where he completely lost track of what it is important in life because of the entertainment's twisted world. I really almost cried. I'd like to hug him so much ;_;

You're welcome ♥ Kame's essays are always so inspirational :)
