Hey out there! Long time no see :) it's a lot of time you don't see me posting something that isn't a translation, so you must have already guessed that what I am about to write here is quite important.

If you haven't done it yet, please, *BUY EXPOSE SINGLE*.
You have probably already watched the PV, the making, the jackets on the net. Now I ask you to really, practically support KAT-TUN. 

Why am I writing this? You know I am living in Japan right now. I assure you that J-Storm is making zero promotion for this single. On the contrary, our rival, an AKB48 girl, had a handshake event, around 7 versions of the single, her posters are EVERYWHERE around Tokyo and she's slightly catching up KAT-TUN sold copies total. She's too close. I believe in our boys but this doesn't allow us to just leech without supporting.

The #1 record is kept only if KAT-TUN are #1 for the WEEKLY chart, NOT the first day as many think.
Right now, KAT-TUN need their hyphens.
This is their 20th single, they're aiming to break a new record after KinKi Kids (who are currently the holders of the World record). You don't want to let them lose it, right?! If they lose now, they have to start from the beginning once again. And it means losing 6 years of efforts. Said it in a cruel way, they won't obtain this record anymore.

A Regular edition is just 1000 Yen. It's like 8 €, a bit more than 10 $. A dinner out with friends. Show them some love buying the original version! They deserve it! (and possibly do it before Sunday, since online purchases take some days to be counted...)
Buy it for yourself, or buy it as a present for your friends to make them know KAT-TUN!


The reason I translate interviews - and videos, like I have translated KAT-TUN's zettai manetakunaru TV or the making ofs till now - for free (because no one is paying me), is because I want them to be popular and known all around the world, and I want to help the fans. I am doing this for free, so please, if you don't want to do it for them or J-Storm or whatever, do this for me ;_; don't waste my efforts in helping KAT-TUN and YOU ALL, letting them going down. I translate makings because I want to help who bought the copy to understand what they're saying.

I want to believe that this CHAIN really exists. I want to believe that my translating for fandom for free has a meaning, that being a HYPHEN has a meaning. Don't betray my expectations now!

And yesterday was seriously the first time where I was sitting there wondering whether I should just ignore that I'm broken right now and just order them all for a second time.
This is why I really would prefer to have more versions...*sighs*
There are enough people out there who WOULD buy all the 7 versions if they released them...

This is just so damn unfair with their lasting lack of promo...

But well at least I hope that we don't have to be afraid about their first spot this time, because this girl's sales really dropped today.

I'M WITH YOU ON THIS!! Will spread the initiative here in my country. I honestly thought of what can we do further to help KAT-TUN (aside from taking orders for co-Hyphens) when they became #2 and got seriously worried. But spreading the word won't hurt and it might mean a lot.

But since the 1st day sales was revealed, I already mention about this on my twitter that some people were celebrating this far too early. I cringed when I saw multiple post on Tumblr, already claiming this is KAT-TUN concecutive #1 single just basing on 1st day sales. They all forgot KAT-TUN 'opponent' is an AKB girl! And now that you mention it, there's no promotion for this single too! I feel sad that J-Storm neglating them, leaving them like this, but this is why Hyphens needs to unite, right?

Hi,

Thank you for this announcement. I am not used to leaving comments others than "thank you" because my English is not very good but there I had to speak. You taught me two things today : that the #1 record is for the week chart (I thought it was for the first day only) and, what shocked me the most, that KAT-TUN needs help. I live in France and there are some hyphens here, but I don't know how many and how devoted they are. All I know is that, from my little point of view, the fans tend to take the free makings, pv and songs without buy the CDs. I was one of them at the beginning but now I try to buy them, because I want to support them really, not only with my heart but also with my money. I find it's really gratifying for us fans to know that a little part of us, of our money, goes to them. I always buy only one version but I think, and I hope, that it’s already a small help for them, so that they can keep this record, of which we are so proud, as long as possible. So with my little influence I’ll try to exhort the French hyphens to buy that single so that they will be again #1.

So thank you for having told us what was going on in Japan and of the lack of promotion from which they suffer. I find it very sad and frustrating and I hope that all the hyphens of the world are going to mobilize for them, to return to them all that they give us.

And at last, I really want to thank you one more time for all the work you make for us ^^

I ordered limited 1 and 2 and my sister just told me that the package arrived today.
I haven't watched the PV's and Makings yet (just the short previews) because I wanted to wait for my own copies,
so I'm really happy now :-)

Last but not least I want to thank you for translating KAT-TUN- related articles and videos. I'm from Germany and just started learning Japanese, so in order to really understand what they are saying I'm still dependent on kind people like you who spend their free time with translating and subbing.

They dropped but I think the copies sold during the handshake will be counted on the last day, together with the net sales :(
Right now the difference is around... 40k more or less? That's a bit scary :/

I was wondering about buying some RE to give around as presents too (instead of eating for the next days, lol)

Well I would love to say that I'm a huge optimist...but sadly I'm not, so I will breath freely only when we will know that they got their first spot...

Yeah.
And I really try to understand people's reasons why they couldn't afford it. But I'm just SO damn sick of the "I don't have money" excuse.
Lots of us are just students, without a job, but we still manage to purchase them.

Fandom just makes me sick sometimes.

I am investigating (LOL) around Twitter. There's a rumor that the copies sold on the handshake even have already been counted for the first day. It'd be unexpected since even KT's To The Limit special edition was counted on last day :O BUT! If so, it's a good news! The probability of a last-moment-chart-flip are fewer ♥

I want to be optimist too, I believe in the quality of this CD and I trust the boys. They are born to do this job.
I just wish that international fandom stopped this hypocrisy of "yeah I support them, I'm a fan forever~ " but they just download without buying. it's a flaw international fandom doesn't get over. Even one copy shows you are respecting your group's efforts.

I know the feeling, I normally have to wait 1 month when I live back in my country :(
But the important thing is that fandom is starting to understand that "supporting the artist" isn't just being a fan in words, but actually buying the original products!

Tbh I also think that the sales already have been counted...cause her second day sales were just SO damn huge. (even in comparison with their first day sales) and now you have such a huge drop.

I never understand such kind of people. For me, the boys, their music, their shows is like...breathing.
Or like drinking water or what ever. And you fuckin pay to drink water. So why the hell don't the people understand that they also have to pay if they wanna enjoy their awesomeness?

Anyway...I still love it that there are so many great people around here who really support them. Not just through words but also through money.

I noticed that too, that's also one of the reasons I wrote this entry. I don't really understand where this misunderstanding is from, but yeah, the record is weekly, not first day.
Not "an AKB girl", she's the 3rd! So she's quite popular ._.

I am living abroad so I know the "penniless" thing xD this is why I always "exchange" with something: a RE is a dinner/drinking out night with friends. I give up on that once, save money and spend them on these CDs. I think it's a fair trade and a sacrifice we can bear, giving up one party in order to... party with KT CD :P

Maybe it sounded more dramatic than it really is, but yeah. I think international fans don't really know how much KAT-TUN lacks promotion, especially if compared to other groups like Kanjani8 or Sexy Zone. I've seen trucks and huge boards/posters with all other JE groups, but NEVER seen KAT-TUN stuff for either Fumetsu no Scrum, CHAIN album and CHAIN DVD, and now for EXPOSE. It's kinda frustrating, as fan :(

All I know is that, from my little point of view, the fans tend to take the free makings, pv and songs without buy the CDs.
This is what I want to fight against! I was there too, then I grew up (lol) and understood the importance of "supporting the artist" :)
One version is already a sign of respect toward the artists :)

My sister and I started to buy their CD since we started on fandom (with Love Yourself) and we buy all versions for each one since CUW. And we're buying their old releases as we find them. Living in Brazil, we pay 1.5 (w/ shipment) to 2 (w/ shipment + importation tax) times more, but it's worth it. But, as much as I love KT, I won't waste money on more CDs for which I won't have use (don't know more KT fans here to give).
I'm supporting them as I can and I hope that more fans can buy their products that they're already enjoying!
When my copies arrive (they're already on Brasil!), I'll post their pic!

I order 3 version and it's already arrived yesterday :)) I don't know what wrong with J-Storm but i realize J-Storm and J&A didn't care about Kat-tun after Kisumai debut. Maybe because Kat-tun member will reach their 30 soon make they ignore Kat-tun and put all the limelight in Kisumai, HSJ & Sexy Zone because they will replace Kat-tun place someday. I hope fan will help Kat-tun with ordering at least one version. Honestly said i envy News fan because they really strong support News. I don't want compare Hypen with them but i can't help wish Hypen can be like them. Can i know how to contact to you? Maybe i will ask you for help me buy Kat-tun upcoming single :)

I bought 5 copys ( pic.twitter.com/fxugIj94 ) already but since they were bought online, they will be counted on the last day.
Atleast they are number 1 again today on the daily charts, I think that the sold cds for the handshaking event were counted yesterday (i really hope) since her 2nd day sales were so high compared to today.

The single has done better than FNS, White & TTL so far, and around the same as UW and RFU the first 3 days. But really, this song, and ALL the b-sides, are AMAZING so I was really hoping for more. I'm going to wait nervously for the last day to see how the internet sales were.

Yes, I think that the reason behind KAT-TUN's (and I suppose NEWS too) lack of promo is because they are getting old especially if compared with HSJ and Sexy Zone. 2 members of KAT-TUN are going to turn 30 this year, and this means they won't be in idols magazines like Wink Up, Popolo etc anymore too. :( (it seems it's a sort of not-written rule. Indeed, K8 disappeared too from these magazines).
But yeah, NEWS fandom is really supportive with their idols, I really like the atmosphere you can feel there :)

Sorry for butting in, but I actually really don't get the age thing.
I mean it's kinda understandable when you compare them to teen groups like HSJ/sexy zone/Kisumai.
But why does Kanjani get such a huge promo then? They are older than KT...and they were everything but really popular in the past.

And yeah...I also think that it's their last year in the jpop mags *sighs*
