[Fanreport] Dream Boys 2011 - 09/19 1st show
Finally I finished the report of the second show I attended ^_^ Everything is written following my memory so yeah, consider this too while reading (they may have used different words, or I can even remember wrongly).

DREAM BOYS 19/09 h.13.00 show
TaNaka ad lib at the beginning after the first song
N: We’ll go on a world tour! I’d like to say something in that country’s language!
Ko: Nice idea!
N: you can speak Chinese?
Ko: *says something in a quick, slang-ish Japanese*, you bastard!
N: that’s Japanese!
Ko: no it’s Chinese!
N: I don’t think it is! XD
Baseball field
Same beginning I described in the last report.
towards the end of Juri-kame duet, Juri patted Kame’s shoulder 4-5 times, and ended the song with a “wu~uh~”, then stood up. Kame looked at him and laughed (I think it’s the first time I see kame lost in an ad lib, lol).
Ka: Wu~ uh? *pats the shoulder juri patted, then indicates Juri and himself, always saying at every touch wu~uh” *juri didn’t answer to this Kame’s ad lib*
Ka: … this game had no effect.(lamenashi~)
Then the kids arrive, they say they don’t want a family etc etc. same scene as always, but he changed a bit the questions.
Ka: Who prepared you breakfast today?
Kids: mom.
Ka: right? who gave you money today?
Kids: dad.
Ka: Right? Who washed your clothes today?
Kids: mom.
Ka (starts smiling, signal he doesn’t know what to ask anymore XD): right? who organizes with all his might the family trip?
Kids: Dad.
Ka: right? who woke you up today?
Kids: … alone.
Ka: … you’re right, you’re modern kids. I was woken up by the alarm clock. Sorry for the stupid question *bows*
This scene was reaaaally cute LOL. Also kame’s “right?” (darou~?) Were very funny, he himself was laughing XD
There’s also a joke that continues from the very 1st show, which is a cute “gomen ne~” that if I remember correctly Juri started but Kame corrected and now they do it every show. Kame asks “apologize!” and the kids says this “gomen ne~” in a kawaii way, putting a leg behind the other and doing a little bow, then tiltling their head on the side.
Ka: When you have to apologize, do it properly! Ok? Ready…
Kids (doing the pose): Gomen ne~
Ka (doing the pose too and speaking cutely): Ok~
Ka (indicates Kid 1): you always do it on the contrary! Try to do it again?
*the kids do the gomen ne~ again*
Ka: see! You put the other leg behind!
They all laugh and the Kid 2 corrects the leg of Kid 1 in the right position.
Ka: ok, redo!
Kids: Gomen ne~ *kid 1 is a bit uncertain on his legs*
Ka: pay attention! *laughs*
Today the Yokai scene was done :P
Ka: Normal human beings can’t heal from cold so quickly! Don’t tell me… *dramatic silence, both kame and everyone is already smiling* you’re yokai too?
Kids: the only yokai here is you!
Ka (smiles): Oh yes. Yokai Bem. Right.
*starts singing the opening song of the anime and pseudo-dancing in a weird way on it, then stop embarrassed*
Ka: Sorry. I recently watch it every evening… Well, please watch (the drama).
(kame’s fails are adorable. On stage are even more adorable :3)
BAD DREAM
It’s a really nice perf but it’s difficult to describe it (and this is why it’s so nice, you must see to understand and appreciate I think there are fancams around). At first there’s only Kame dancing alone in front of a white wall, then some Jr.s appears, and at the last part of the song I think there are almost all the dancers on stage around Kame.
Every time kame does a move or step, or the song has a strong beat, behind him on the wall something appears. (for example: he draws a circle around him-> behind him a black shadow follows his hand in the movement; he stretches his arms on his sides->projected shadows starts from his hands towards the borders of the white wall like power waves). Basically at every beat of the song kame does a move and from that movement abstract stuff appears behind him.
It’s a different performance, but I like it a lot. It’s that sort of performance only Kame can do.
One on One
As last time, Koki and Maru waved and smiled at the audience all happy :3
Run For You
After one on one, instead of being one next to the other, Koki was in front of koki giving the back to the audience and they did the first steps at a very close distance facing each other. When they ended (when kame arrived and started singing) they separate laughing. It was indeed funny XDD but the result of the choreo danced in that way was cool too!
during the bridge, Kame attacked Maru again XD it did have any effect so he attacked again his next solo line, going like 3cm away from maru’s face singing his next line (I’m not sure if it was during his line “renzoku shita tension ni…” or during another line by ueda/Taguchi).
Kame was in front of Maru giving the back to the audience, but from my seat I could see that Maru was smiling XD
Koki, after this NaKame scene, bursted into laugh. He hit himself on the cheek before the chorus to get grip of himself. Soooo cute XD
Just because I need to say it: Koki’s hip thrusts in the final part of the choreo (in the last chorus “lalalan for you, lalala for your life”) is kinda distracting. And well… erotic. Like, seriously.
MC
This MC was kinda random and… mostly about beauty. XD
They started with the presentations: kame with the serious introduction, then he introduced koki that says he’s pleased to do this role again on the anniversary, then kame introduces Maru.
K: after 100 years, it takes part Nakamaru Yuuichi-kun!
N: Hello, I’m nakamaru yuichi. I’m happy to be here for the 100 anniversary, the first time I came on this stage was… yeah, 100 years ago… *turns to kame* could you stop this?
Kame laughs XD “5 years, right? Ok” and he re-introduces maru.
If I remember well, Maru said a line “did you like this show” in a way that sounded like all the stage play was ended, so both kame and koki told him “there’s still a week! It isn’t finished yet!”
Soon after.
Ka: Nakamaru, you had your hair cut?
N (surprised and pleased): I did! You noticed it!
Ka: When, yesterday? this morning?
N: Yes, this morning! As expected it’s different~! (he said it all proud, audience was laughing… no one noticed LMAO)
Ka: I had the feeling that something was different but just when in a certain song I turned “ehi, Yuichi!” and I was wondering what, and saw you by profile I noticed the hair next to the face were shorter.
Maru was really happy about it XD
They then continued: kame doesn’t cut his hair since 1 month, koki doesn’t dye his hair since the pamphlet shooting (around 1 month too), Maru says he wants to go to the hairdresser every 2 weeks.
Maru: kamenashi-kun and tanaka-kun are fine with their length, and also a bit longer hair would suit them. In my case they just grow 2-3 cm and – Ueda has gone bald now!
LMAO he said it so all of a sudden! XD
Koki said it’s difficult being blond (for the many treatments he has to do, I suppose). Then:
Ko: Kame, you had a perm before DBS, right?
Ka: Yes, I did…
Kame looked pleased XD
And then… they switched to Ueda again XD
N: Ueda went bald.
Ka+Ko: Yes… (it may be just my impression but they had a face between the laughing, the depressed and the WTF XD)
Audience murmuring.
Ka: You know, on Saturday… was it Saturday? Yes… he took a pic of himself with the phone and sent it to us with written “give your best in today’s show looking at this!”…
Ko: Yes! I saw the pic, I saw the message “give your best in today’s show”, and I went “HOW CAN I FOCUS ON THE SHOW NOW?!”
Ka: I have my phone switched off when I work so I saw it coming back, read the message “looking at this give your best!” on the car and I went… “eh?!”
Ko: It was also on the newspaper, right? And the message next to the pic was “an idol goes bald!”. And I said “I DID IT TOO AND FIRST!”
(yes, spoiled-offended!brat!Koki is adorable like that)
Of course “dream bozu” pun made his appearance XD
In the hair convo, Koki said “kame, you love taking baths, right?” so Kame said he takes many showers every day, around 5 (waking up, before the show, between the 2 acts [the break is just 30mins], after the show, before going to sleep).
Maru asked if he does the shampoo every time and kame said yes. So maru objected it’s bad to his hair. XD They also talked about hairdryers! XD
Also kame said he washes his teeth even more than that. This time was koki saying him that’s bad XD cuz he went 1 time to the dentist, he was told he was washing too much his teeth, so kame should take better care of his ones too. XD kame objected it’s just a quick wash, not brushing (from the sounds he did I suppose he meant w/ electric toothbrush), and after Koki’s scolding he apologized bowing, he was really cute, like a child being scolded XD
During the chat with Koki, Nakamaru came closer to Kame, so when kame was talking he turned to look at Maru and he jumped away shouting “YOU’RE CLOSE! WHEN DID YOU COME SO CLOSE!” XDDDDD
Ka *turns to Koki*: I was talking to him like this and you were far, then I turn and… *Kame turns, Maru is creeping AGAIN really close, around 10-20cm from Kame*
Ka: YOU SURPRISED ME!
And then Kame cringed on the floor laughing XD you can easily imagine Kame sitting on the floor laughing, he was so cute XD
LMAO XD
Somewhere in the MC there was also a comment by kame about Maru buying him something.
Ka: I said I wanted this and Nakamaru bought it for me as a present!
Ko: Really?
N: Actually I was said to buy it for him, but then when it was time to give it to him I thought it was bad to ask for the money…
Ko: So uncool!
Ka: You should just had followed my story, I made you look cooler.
Kame imitated himself in the mornings, it was really LOL-worthy XD basically dragging himself around the house, eyes closed, flesh without strength, unable to walk straight.
Ko: Are you so softish?!
Ka: I’m really weak in the mornings.
But then it seems he stops in the room he has many gym stuff and wakes up there XD
They also had a convo about their roles on stage. Basically Koki complained that Nakamaru took the boke role, Kame the tsukkomi role, so he hasn’t role left (yes, Koki kept complaining all MC long XD)
Ko: It’s something I think continuously, 7/7 days, 24hrs!
N+Ka: impossible, you should add at least a short span to sleep!
Ko: I think about it even when I sleep!
Maru+Kame asked which role he wants, he said he didn’t know either, so the 2 agreed that Koki can take both roles whenever is necessary.
Ko: I tried with the serious role just now at the beginning of the MC, but then you and Nakamaru started that story…
Cute XD
They kept talking about roles on stage like this, until Kame at a certain point said “this convo has become a dressing room convo, like we aren’t thinking we’re on stage” XD
Koki also said “It’s difficult to do jokes that suits the Imperial theatre!”
Ka: there’s your brother, right? So you act like…
Ko: Niichan-like?
Ka: No, more “I’m Tanaka Kouki” *cool face*
*everyone laughing*
Ka: no well but I understand. Me too, if I had my little brother here I’d act like… *serious/cool face* “Thank you very much”.
Ko: So much?! But really, it’s difficult to have Juri here!
Ka: he’s doing his best! Really! “Kazuya! Kazuya!” and hitting me.
Ko: Ah, about you, Kame?
Ka: yeah.
Ko: I said It’d have been better if he hit you stronger…
Ka: You are similar. Next boxing scene I’ll go more serious too then. [<- I’m not sure about this line, but it was smth like this]
(KOKAME ALL THE WAY XD)
They concluded talking about KT.
Ka: So Ueda turned bald… Who’s the other one?
N: Who? Yoshida?
Ko: it’s with T, since in KT there are 2 Ts… Ta…?
Ka: Tanabe? (it’s a name similar to this)
N+Ko: it sounds like that, yeah.
Ka: then… Kamenashi, Tanabe, Tanaka, Ueda, Nakamaru, we’re KAT-TUN, please take care of us.
*applauses*
Ko: is it ok to end the MC like this? With Tanabe?
Ka: *whispering* I wonder…
Ko: well if someone doesn’t know it will look for it.
Ka: Do you say the audience will doubt about the Ts in KAT-TUN and will write us “it’s not Tanabe!”?
So they basically left us with the doubts and gave us the task to check on the net who is the name in KT XD
End of MC.
Also a note: of course the presentations at the end are done (as always at theatre) backwards, leaving the protagonists last.
Kame is then the last one doing the thank bow. A thing that impressed me is that he slowly looks at all the theatre before bowing. He starts from the 2nd floor, from one side till the other, then goes down and looks at the ground floor people, from one side to the other again, and JUST after looking at all the theatre at the end he deeply bows (and I mean, deeply).
