Bloody monday

iside89Some days ago I ended the first season of "Bloody Monday" (for synopsis, follow the link). Since I get so addicted to "Kurosagi" and "Orthros no Inu" (and "RESCUE"), I though "Yeah, I'm going to like this drama too, I wanna try it". And wtf I liked it very much XD
First, I like action/thriller series; if there's police or army it's even better. If there's a psychological aspect too, I simply love them (Kurosagi? XD). You may have understood it from the titles I wrote XD
Plot: The first episode starts straight to the point. I liked it, because most of movies/series have the weak point to start too slowly. (Even though around ep.4-5 I wondered "How can they maintain such a plot other 6 episodes? Police and terrorist are too close to each other since ep.2!") So, this is one of the main reasons that I gave to this dorama such an high score: it was able to maintain an high level of suspense from the first episode to the last.
Then, Fujimaru's personal struggle (when he's asked to hack this or that building control panel to help someone he loves, or when he has to decide to continue to help THIRD-i and Japan or run away, etc), is well portrayed. I think that beside the main plot (Bloody X and tero attacks), this is the second one. So it's important the main actor acting skills - as I will say.
Ihated loved how every episode ended with a cliffhanger. The fact I watch movies/dorama before go to sleep it's a nuisance XD In summer I can watch all the episodes in a night (as I did with Kurosagi and Gokusen), but when I'm study I can't XD
And at the end... the "change of road" the story makes the last episodes (if you'll watch the drama, you'll understand). I'd never imagined what they were actually planing.
Each of the last 4 episode had 3-4 sensational developments. Just wonderful XD
Characters & actors: From the first episode I was impressed by the main protagonist: I though "Wow, he's acting well. Very well °_°". I was impressed the actor is 1 year younger than me too. Oh well, I'm used to see Johnny's acting skills, and to be honest, not all of them are GREAT actors. So it was a pleasant surprise to discover a young good actor (and he has such a beautiful smile ^o^).
-I liked Kirishima character too. He's a strict leader, decisive but caring. Said in this way, it seems a cliche, but around the last episodes I started to doubt about him too. It was so strange he acted like nothing happened (I don't want to make spoilers)... And since this drama is full of spies I started looking for them everywhere.
-Narimiya Hiroki/J is the criminal genius. Of course this kind of stories develop around 2 geniuses which fight each other (someone said "Death Note"?). But I like criminal geniuses :P And J was a character well done. Around ep.8 I was afraid it would have turned out he was not so genial but he was only following orders - My greatest fear. But nobody can "impersonate" a genius and just appear like him, right? XD
-When I've seen Sato Takeru/Otoya I screamed "Ah! From Mei-chan!". I hated that dorama and all that acting, so I hoped he would have act better here. He has not a great part, but he was absolutely acting better XD Lucky me... because I liked his character too XD
-I didn't know Kichise Michiko/Maya. She's very pretty and a great actress. I still don't understand were she is standing in this dorama (with Third-i? J? K? Someone else? By herself?).
Other random points:
-Tokyo by night it's blue... and pretty *_* (i.e.: landscape "break shoot" are appropriate and well done XD).
-camera angles were not casual or stereotyped (thing that I often notice in JP dramas). One time I felt almost seasick though XD (<-- technical things are important too to create a good drama)
-Nice soundtrack.
Weak points?
-After 3 episodes I'd have killed the sister. She was ALWAYS in the way. Damned girl XD
-It's not a real weak point, but the main song is terrible XD Even though the soundtrack was nice.
-The policeman and high priest story is absolutely random.
-ep.2/3/4 are a little bit repetitive with that sister stuff.
BONUS: Funny discussion at the University (DURING lesson, of course XD), about Bloody Monday:
Friend: "Have you seen the next episode?"
Me: "No ç_ç Yesterday I studied all day long"
Friend: "OMG OMG OMG OMG! You'll see! So shocking! OMG! And Narimiya... OMG OMG! I watched his scenes 2 times, he's HOT! OMG! And the plot... OMG!"
Me: "O_ò You're not so coherent, you know? XD"
[lesson continues... after some minutes...]
Friend (out of the blue): "wah, NARIMIYAA! *flails*"
Teacher: *looking in our direction*
Me: ^o^'''
Teacher: *doesn't notice - I think*
Friend: "Sorry, I suddenly remembered his smile at the end of the episode..."
Me: "Can you at least remember it when the teacher is not looking to us? X°°°D

Day 18 - A song that you wish you heard on the radio

After all, I'm always hoping that KT (and other japanese singers) will be famous in Europe too. Let's hope that next year they will expand their World tour.
