LIVE album by NEWS - Review

iside89So, I wrote a review for N.M.P. I have to play fair, that's because I'm writing one for LIVE too.
In the last weeks I listened to rock and metal music, so probably I wasn't really in the right mental status to listen to J-Pop again X°°D
As I said before, I didn't appreciated the 13 sec demos. I listened to the whole album just one time, so maybe the scores will change in the future, who knows. Wanna see if I changed my mind?
1. Koi no ABO. 8,5. Oh well this song was LOVE at first listening so... =P
2. LIVE. 6. Ok, 6,5, today I'm kind. Knowing that was written by Greeeen I was hoping in a new Weeeek - I'd have scream of joy for days. It was such a delusion... It's an anime song! XD I guess it's the kind of song that I'll start to like after 4-5 listening. Maybe.
3. Umareshi kimi he. 6. Sweet. This is a shojo anime opening, ABSOLUTELY. Give me the name of the anime. I don't believe it's a song from an album XD Can become a 7, maybe, in the future.... maybe.
4. Supernatural. 4. I barely finished to listen to it. It's simply... I don't know. It's like an old club song. The rhythm doesn't transmit something to me. It's annoying. And it's too high for their voices.
5. Aki no Sora. 5. Ok the lyrics are cute but the rhythm is nothing special. It's so Tegomassu's style... and I don't like albums full of that kind of ballads, sorry.
6. Futari ecc ecc. 7 (but during the first half of the song was 6,5 or less). Oh my, but it's only my impression but these songs are ALL THE SAME?! °_° It's difficult to separate one from the other, to me. This one is funny, though. I wanted to give a 7, since I like it more than Umareshi and some others. Thanks God there was that guitar in the middle of the song that pumped up the score.
7.Dancin' in the Secret. 7,5 (but I have the feeling it's going to become an 8 in some days, I really like it). Love at first listening here too! =P even though it's a bit too dance for my tastes, I simply love it. LOL. At least I like ONE new song! I found somehow sexy their voices. Dancin' in the secret ~~
8. Wonderland. 5,5. From the demo I hoped it was better. It's easy to listen to, but nothing special.
9. Sakura Girl. 7,5. I like the single so it's one of the few songs I like in this album. Don't have to say much more, right?
10. Be funky! 8,5. I hoped so much it was a single ç_ç Love love love. Maybe it's my favourite of the all album.
11. D.T.F. 5,5. That half point is because I listened to it until the end, but... oh well I don't think I'll listen to it again until I'll have 39°C fever.
12. Naiyou no nai tegami. 7. I didn't like it at first, but now that I have the full version, I like it a bit more. I like Koyashige voices here.
13. Endless summer. 6. Not bad, but as I said before, Oh my, but it's only my impression but these songs are ALL THE SAME?! °_°
14. Share. 8,5. It's so beautiful. I gave that half point because it was written by themselves. ** Studio version is really cute!
15. Forever. 8. LOVE. But somehow I prefer the old version. But this one is interesting and very sweet too. And I love the "cut" ending *.*
At the end I like only the singles (I consider Be funky! a single in its own way), the old songs and Dancin' in the secret. I'm so disappointed. I miss demential songs such as Murarisuto or weirdly happy songs such as Weeeek (thanks God there's Koi no ABO). It's NEWS-like, ok, but I feel like it's more Arashi's than NEWS's. Arashi fan, it isn't an offence. Simply, I don't like that kind of over-sweety-pop songs. I've always thought that NEWS were the group between Arashi's pop and KAT-TUN's rock, and I like them for this reason. But right now I see them more Arashi than middle-way.
I don't like the album. I gave absurdly high scores for my standards. I was WAY MORE CRUEL with KT's album, seriously. So, you can't say I'm KT biased when I write reviews X°°D I guess I don't want to destroy all the songs because I waited for this album for months. But can someone reassure me and blow away this feeling that I have - that is, that this album was done too much fast and for this reason lacks of outstanding songs? Please. I feel like I want to cry.
